Hi! I’m Kate the maker behind ‘Love Kate Pottery’.

I live in Lichfield, Staffordshire and am lucky enough to work out of my garden studio. I’ve studied pottery and glaze firing for quite some time now, and will continue to do so for the rest of my time on this planet.

My passion lies in throwing unique pieces rather than making perfect copies.

Along the way, I have learnt how to really respect clay in its most natural form. When I’m working, I get completely lost in the process and for me time stops.

I am incredibly grateful to those who support small business and the creative industries. I have recently had the opportunity to create a bespoke service ware set for Upstairs by Tom Shepherd-One Michelin starred restaurant. I am and continue to be very honoured to be part of his incredible establishment.
